Contact information for emergencies.

Important information

Yeyo notifies the authorities of claims of specific criminal crimes, along with the identity of the person filing the report. In addition to occasionally adhering to relevant licensing requirements, we take this action for the safety of drivers and riders.

What constitutes an emergency contact?

An emergency contact is someone you specify who can be called if a specific issue occurs and Yeyo is unable to reach you directly.

When will Yeyo contact this individual?

In the event of an emergency, Yeyo will first attempt to contact you, and if that is not feasible, we will contact the emergency contacts you have designated.
If we call your emergency contact, the subject may be:

Investigative: Assist in compiling information regarding the emergency occurrence, such as what occurred and who was involved.

Informative: To update the contact on what happened during the emergency occurrence.
Yeyo has defined the following events as emergencies:

Death
Hospitalization.
An ambulance needed to be called.
Serious injuries.

Although highly rare, these events can arise during a journey.

You can add any number as an emergency contact from the app, but Yeyo will only attempt to reach up to two contacts, giving precedence to the most recently registered.

If Yeyo successfully communicates with the first emergency contact, we will not contact the second one.
